The Letter Urges Congress to Pass The Investments in President Biden’s Build Back Better Agenda

During yesterday’s daily press briefing, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki highlighted an Invest in America Action letter signed by 72 leading economists and led by former Chair of the Council of Economic Advisers Austan Goolsbee, in which the economists voiced their support for passing President Biden’s economic agenda: both the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal and the Build Back Better plan. Psaki cited the economists, who wrote that the plans will create jobs, lower costs for American families, ease inflationary pressures, and lead to significant economic growth.
